No - it`s a buzz. Unless you get a salad dodger sat in front of you who forces the seat back so it`s in your face. Yes, I`m talking about you, Mr 12 pies a night, on the 21:55 ex Nice on Monday.

And don`t start me off about Sleazyjet. Elephants have more orderly bunfights!

It's not the crashing you should worry about.... it's the PLUMMETING...!

Flying is not the scary part......

....it's the plummeting to the ground like a dart that worries me.

Plummeting is cool, down the way g-forces. It's the stop at the bottom that could hurt.

Sleezy-jet - Bun-fight, yep. There's enough seats for everyone though, so no point in shoving. If you get a front row or exit seat then you are lucky as you will be able to move your legs while you are on board!

How to get the best ut of sleazyjet........ As you get on, ask one of the cabin crew how loaded the plane is. If 75% or less, go right to the back and sit in an aisle seat. No-one will want to sit alongside you (no window). When it takes off, lift the armrests and stretch out across 3 seats!

1) Get an Aisle seat. Window seats suck
2) If the flight is half empty, move seats when the seatbelt light goes out
3) Take bottled drinks with you in hand luggage
4) Take something to read
5) Take an asprin before you fly
6) Prepare to be bored

Takeoff -great
Cruising -boring as(unless there is turbulence then great in a buttock clenching way)
Landing -great

If your taking a scheduled flight then no need to carry drinks with you as they're all free anyway!

I would recommend a window seat as its your first time.

Nothing like 172,000 pounds of thrust to set you back in your seat!

Takeoffs, landings, turns, I love it all.

Good advice. I'm going to Las Vegas next month and I'm really not looking forward to the flight. It's boring and there's not enough leg room.

take a window seat. You get a view and you don't have to wake up/move every time the incontinent b*stard next to you wants to get out of the row.

I'd hate to be any of your children!

Its like anything that pulls g's, don't tense up. Breathe easily and you're ears shouldnt pop. Remember, its a multimillion pound machine, they don't break very often And enjoy the torque at takeoff!

Oh, and planes don't do this anymore

Don't get on one of these either...
