PHEA Meet: Social Summer Meet (SSM) - Monday 8th April
Discussion
Good afternoon everyone.
The longer, lighter evenings are finally here meaning I can inform you all of our FIRST Social Summer Meet, or SSM of 2019
This will be held on Monday 8th April
As with previous years' SSMs, it will take place during the evening track session at the Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk - MAP LINK HERE.
These SSMs are basically an excuse to join your fellow PHers for a good catch up and watch the track action.
Should you wish to get out on track, you can book via the MSV website BOOKING PAGE HERE
BEFORE you do this, a "fasteddys" discount may be available. As this first SSM is relatively early in the season, the discount will be subject to numbers. To obtain this discount, you must please contact fasteddy through his PH Profile HERE, and then book with MSV over the phone.
The Meet will begin around 4:30pm and end at about 8-8:30pm dependant on daylight, as the track time ends.
I cannot be specific as to our exact location within the pit area, so please look out for any cars with the "fasteddy" stickers and "GEE" on the registration.
Entry to spectate at the circuit is FREE, but obviously track time will incur costs.
Track time is also subject to the usual track day necessities: long leg & sleeve clothing, helmets, signing on, safety briefing and noise testing. Signing on is from 3:30pm, briefing is at 4:30pm.
You are free to arrive and leave whenever you wish, but please adhere to the site speed limits and watch for pedestrians and other cars' movements.
Tyrells Cafe will be open for business.
So please Join us for the First SSM of the year
You can decide on the day, but just to help us have an idea of how many to expect, simply add your name to this thread or please message me directly.
You can also sign up to the Event on our Facebook Page.
We hope to see you there!
Darren

A huge Thank You to everyone who joined us for our first SSM of 2019.
Despite the poor initial weather forecast and even the cold wind on the day, there were do many of you who popped down to enjoy a meet and spectate some track action.
A handful of PHers joined in the track evening, too.
It was wonderful to catch up with everyone. My apologies if we didn't chat too long, but I hope this is something we remedy in the future
Once uploaded, I'll post a link to my photos here.
I hope to see you all for the next one
