Advice required for retiring mechanic

Hi, I’m posting for my Uncle who is retiring from his 29 years in business at his garage in north Norfolk. He isn’t very computer savvy and he is wanting to retire this year, he has a rented garage near the beach in a lovely town and has 29 years worth of loyal customers. He has advertised his business for sale locally with no luck. His concern is letting his customers down as he is a very dedicated motor engineer and people rely on him for services and emergencies. He wants to pass on his life’s work to someone who is serious about continuing his good work and satisfy his customers but how to find that person? He is not asking a great deal for the business and is more concerned about his customers. He operates as a sole trader and his turnover is good so it would be an amazing business for someone to take over. Anyone have any advice on how to find the right person for this amazing opportunity? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
The problem I would see here is that his customers don't go to his garage, they go to him. I know I certainly do for the chap I use with my TVR. If he moved on/sold up I'd go to another trusted indie rather than the potential unknown who took over. I'd guess a lot of potential new owners also know that, not an easy type of business to sell on in all honesty.
