Thank You Everyone & Happy 2018!
Discussion
Good afternoon everyone,
Considering it is New Year's Eve, now is the opportune moment to offer my gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued support of PHEA
The 2017 Calendar has been our most packed yet, and there is plenty in the planning for next year.
Every event has had a bumper attendance, with many filling up at lightning speed! Even horrendous stormy conditions didn't put of some you, eager to attend a Run!
We have been extremely fortunate with the weather this year, with every single Roadshow being dry during the event - I think that's a first!
The Snetterton Meets have been another success, with plenty of members able to get out on track of just enjoy an evening with their fellow PHers.
Other Meets have been a joy to attend, whether it be going around a race track, learning how keep the car clean or seeing how cars can be made
I must thank fellow PHers MarkCSC and fasteddys for your extensive help, support or organisation with Runs and Meets.
LowiePete has hosted two Detailing Days for us and Andrew Soar has invited us to his AS Motorsport operation. I thank you for your time, effort and support
Also, I must thank Simpo Two for all your online support.
Thank you to all you PHEA Members who have assisted me during our Events. From putting up banners, help parking cars to handing out Run instructions, or leading groups on Runs, and everything in between. Your help is hugely appreciated and simply invaluable
Of course, I again thank all those who could make it along to the Events themselves. If you couldn't join this year, hopefully you can make it along in 2018.
Going forward, much is being planned and I hope to have a full Calendar of events by the spring.
In the meantime, I have our first Run of 2018 already booked, details for which will be posted in the coming weeks. Suffice to say it is booked for Sunday 4th February, so keep keep the date clear in your diary
Do you know of an Event which maybe suitable for PHEA? Perhaps somewhere new we take the Roadshow banners, or a place of interest we can visit? Please get in touch so we can see about adding it the PHEA Calendar 2018.
Please also don't hesitate to contact me, should you have any general suggestions or ideas to help improve PHEA
If you are on Facebook, please Like our PistonHeads East Anglia Page, which you can FIND HERE. Additional to the Mailing List and PHEA Forum, it is a further great way to remain in updated on all we get up to.
Speaking of the PHEA Mailing List, if you wish to be added to this or perhaps make an amendment to your address I have on file, then please message me.
Want to spread the word about PHEA? Our own dedicated website can be found at www.phea.co.uk. It explains, in a nutshell, who we are and demonstrates some of the antics we get up to
Have an enjoyable New Year's Eve whatever it is you are doing
I wish you all a prosperous and healthy 2018.
See you soon for another PHEA Event
All the best,
Darren
