Chip repairs Norwich-ish?
Discussion
When used to do chip repairs silver paint really doesn't respond well.
When paint is sprayed it goes on as a very thin layer. With a silver paint the metallic particles in the paint all 'sit' properly in the thin layer, they act like little mirrors reflecting the light and the paint appears silver.
When touching in it doesn't matter how careful you are the paint is applied thicker, the metallic particles sink, they can't reflect the light and the paint appears dark and dull.
