getting into norwich every day fom attleborough will quickly drive you insane. my employers' got a workshop there and its the worst part of my week getting in and out of the town.

first theres the over-zealous proliferation of mobile speed scameras which to add insult to injury only have to roll 200 metres from their depot to a local bridge to start coining in the cash/ increasing the safety. theyve got me twice. the worlds a safer place now i can tell you.

plus, there is also the hideous build up of traffic on the a11 EVERY morning which will mean you queing for at least 45 minutes just to get on the roundabout. and theres no way around it either. joy. meaning a 20 mile journey to norwich will most likely take in excess of an hour. double joy.

additionally, though theres little wrong with attleborough, but if you have needs other than car crime and early nights you might get a tad bored. maybe.

i live in winterton, a tiny village between great yarmouth and norwich. about 16 miles from norwich, takes me twenty minutes to get in, door to door. good fun roads too. perfect for the cerb, perfect for increased saftey-mongers. nice place to live to, good beach, good waves for canoeing etc.

good luck with your choice.

best wishes,
n.

Well I live in the west of Norfolk and we only go to Norwich every couple of months when Wifey needs serious retail therapy. Don`t know the good and bad parts of the city but I`d be inclined to search to the west of Norwich as you`re closer to the rest of the country!

I would, but I've got some other commitments this weekend (and I currently live a couple of hours drive away and own a BMW!).

I'll certainly be along once I've got my new car or when I come down house hunting!
