Headlight Restoration

Bought the 3m headlight restoration kit from Amazon to do my V70 lights. Took a couple of hours and they came up like new. Came with all the bits you need and it cost about £20
There are several reasons I don't want to go down the DIY route. Havingtaken this to a pro-detailer for advice already, it'll probably need down
to 800 grit paper for the start. At that level, you need to be aware of
the heat produced. Secondly, any machine use is out of the question for my
gammy hands, especially a rotary! Lastly, and the most important part is
the application of a proper UV protective coating, which is missing from
kit. It needs careful application to give me the long-term use that I'm
seeking. The car resides outside, facing SE, so almost all day the lights
are out in the sunshine.
For all this, I'd much prefer going to a professional who does these on
a regular basis.

Steve

I can get these to as new condition, will last years and survive even hand car washes! £55 a pair but would need the car or lamps here in Kings Lynn.
Thanks Steve, I may take you up on your offer. I'm planning a localdetailing day on the 1st October. Provided I get near the maximum of
10 attendees, would you be prepared to come to Lowie to demo your
skills on my headlight? I'll be paying you for your work, obviously.
Regards,
Steve
