That's lovely Ash.
Did you buy it because you still can't get the kit out of the garage ??
Let me know if you need any contacts locally in the local Triumph world ( I have had a few.....cars that is !! ).
I look forward to seeing you on the road.
Just had an urge to get something a little different to current and previous cars. Always liked the look of the older classic cars, this come up at the right time and at the right price so i went for it.Did you buy it because you still can't get the kit out of the garage ??

Sun was out earlier in the week and i had to go to the office so decided to take the TR6 instead of the daily, a journey that takes just over an hour took nearly two hours both ways, its nice to drive on the back roads and winding up the old 2.5 straight 6 engine sounds lovely!!
i will be needing a few parts soon as I'm planning to start a small restoration on her in a few months, mainly interior bits and sort some paint defects / issues out, just to bring her up to a higher standard. But she's perfectly useable and presentable as she is for now to just enjoy over the Summer. I'll give you a shout nearer the time. Thanks
These are known to be troublesome at the metering pump, apparently a seal is known to fail and mixes petrol into the sump, diluting the oil and causing engine problems, worth keeping an eye on, easy to tell, the oil level goes up and the dipstick stinks of fuel.
Otherwise they're great cars, good looking and awesome engine sound.

I've owned TRs for the best part of 27 years and never heard that.
