Hello EA PHers.

I recently started a thread about a property close to Snetterton asking for advice. Those that replied, thank you.

We didn't go for that one in the end so are still looking, but more seriously now as our house is about to go on the market.

So, I'm after recommendations for estate agents. Bearing in mind we're buying in the area, not selling.

So, any that are better than others? Any to avoid? The one my sister in law recently purchased through was, frankly, useless.

We're looking in quite a wide search area around Diss so, no doubt, most of them will crop up with properties for sale at some point.

TIA.

I'm not sure why you would not be a house because a specific estate agent had the property?

There's certainly ones I would rather not deal with but I would if they had the house I want.

I wouldn't not buy the perfect house due to the listing agent.

However, if the house is listed by several agents, which many are, I'd rather deal with an agent with a good reputation as opposed to one with a bad reputation.

Doesn't seem that common in Norwich to list with multiple agents.

I'm rather loathe to name and shame though, Norwich is a small place.

Feel free to PM me.

There are agents around here that are good for sellers but not for buyers, and vice versa.

Wouldn't you just do a property search on rightmove.com find a property then go from there..
