A.S Motorsport open day 24th April.. TOMORROW !!
Discussion
Hi folks.
A.S. Motorsport are holding an open day tomorrow.
Recreations of Aston Martin DBR1 and DBR2 will be displayed and, if you are fortunate, one of the highly skilled and knowledgeable build team may take you out for a spin !
They will also talk you through all aspects of the build process and history should you wish.
A friendly and informal day, with many like minded folk turning up in various marques.
There is a BBQ, tea, coffee and cake to boot !
Mid morning to mid afternoon. No booking required....Please just turn up
I will be attending, with several other PHers, after the Aldeburgh Fish and Chip run.
If anyone else wishes to join the run from Aldeburgh to Bressingham, please say Hi tomorrow morning at Tesco Stowmarket. ( I'm the slightly Turkish looking fat bloke with a quiff, driving a shonky old red MX5 )
Cheers.. Digger.

Sorry I missed you Andrew. I did give you a wave though.
You were on your way home, past Blooms of Bressingham. I was in the red MX5, being followed by a white Corvette C6 and black RX8. ( It looked like you were eyeing up the 'vette rather than me though !! )
I hope you and your friend in the yellow car enjoyed your visit.
Thanks also to Markcsc and the folks in the green Elise for turning up to complete what was a great day out.

That wasn't my friend in the yellow car (GT4) - it was my wife!
Nice little setup at AS Motorsport. Thanks for posting up the details and I hope you enjoyed the visit too.
Like a good few of you, I, too, stopped by AS Motorsport.
I was one of the last to leave Aldeburgh, so made the journey solo. Almost everyone had already departed AS Motorsport, but I thoroughly enjoyed a look round and indeed chatting with the couple of people still remaining - I was even offered a passenger ride with Andrew at the wheel of one of his lovely creations.
I simply couldn't refuse; what an experience! Wind the hair (and face), mechanical engine noises, superb "click-clack" of each gear change, all the time drinking in the details.....wonderful! Thank you Andrew, so very much!
