PHEA MEET: Christmas Nosh - Sunday 13th December
Discussion
Good afternoon everyone.
I hereby our announce our FINAL PHEA Event of 2015 - the annual Christmas Nosh Meet, which will be held on Sunday 13th December!
Apologies this is a later-than-planned post.
Unfortunately staffing issues at my original booking has meant a last minute change, which has now just been fully confirmed, albeit I have had to push back the time to more of a evening Event.
The venue will be The Angel at Larling in Norfolk, between Thetford and Snetterton, just off the A47 - MAP LINK HERE
I have booked for 16 people.
We'll meet at the venue at 5:30pm, for a 6pm sit down.
As it's a Christmas do, I will please need a pre-order, which I will have to send to the pub by Sunday 6th December.
The 3-course meal will cost £23.95, which includes a deposit of £10 per head payable to me on the day.
THE MENU:
Starters
A full description of the above can be found on The Angel's Christmas Menu HERE
With only 16 spaces, I can only accept your booking with a pre-order - so get choosing and booking to avoid disappointment!
Whether complete PHEA newbie or usual suspect, all are welcome!
All you have to do is add your name to the list on here, together with your pre order.
Alternatively, you can message me your choices via email or on message me through the PHEA Facebook Page (I am sorry to say I won't be accepting general posts on the Facebook Event Page for this Event - message only, please.)
Let's see out another great PHEA year with festive food in a lovely setting with fellow PHEA Members
Hopefully see at The Angel, Larling on the 13th December.

Hello Folks,
To say that I'm P'd off is barely touching it! My apologies to everyone
for my quick exit, but I was left with little choice. I had the option
of either leaving my dog at home and her suffering the consequences of
anxiety separation for the rest of her life, or to bring her with me.
When I first got her, she was scared half to death of being in the car.
Indeed, any confined space was to be avoided. So, having got over all of
this by careful encouragement, I was not about to destroy that progress
at one fell swoop, or put it at risk.
What got to me was the blanket No! to my request with a completely
unsympathetic attitude. No matter that we had travelled 90 minutes just
to get there, so by the time I made my request she'd been in the car
over 3.5hours, with yet another 90 minute journey to be made home.
I would have loved to spend some time with friends, in what could have
been convivial surroundings, but my family member has to form part of
the equation too. She's a young rescue dog that I've worked carefully
toward being able to take anywhere. Well, anywhere but the Larling
Angel that is!
I'd been looking forward to that evening out too
My apologies once again.
Regards,
Steve

Just a big thank you to Darren for organising the PHEA Christmas Nosh last night. It was good to have an evening meet up and I really enjoyed the meal, even though I couldn't breath in due to the seat spacing.. Made it more fun anyway...!
A very Happy Christmas to all fellow PHers and hopefully, we'll meet up again in the new year for some more car related shenanigans...!!

Many thanks to Darren from myself, Colleen and Lilly for the Christmas meal.
Sorry if Lilly made too much noise, she is very vocal when out and about! And sorry that we had to leave early as we had to get back for Lilly's bedtime.
To Pete, many thanks for the present and sorry if Lilly made you uncomfortable. Hope your poochy was okay, a shame the pub wouldn't let her in!
