PHEA Meet: Snetterton Summer Wednesday - 16th September
Discussion
Morning everyone!
Fresh on the heels of a successful final Roadshow, I hereby announce the FINAL SSW of 2015!
While I may hear cries of "boo" and "hiss", let us see out a Summer of Snetterton Wednesday Meets in style
These are basically an opportunity for petrolhead individuals and clubs to get together, creating a large car show, where track time is also available.
As with each SSW, it will begin around 6pm and end at 9-10pm, dependent on light and weather.
Fasteddys and I will be arranging the location of our Club Stand. After a couple of months, I hope we will be back to our usual plot by Tyrells Cafe. However this may change at very short notice, so please just keep an eye out for Fasteddys branded truck and of course the PHEA Banner.
I also hope to let the marshals know where we are, so if you get lost you can ask a high-viz dressed person where we are. It's not a guarantee, but I'll do my best to let them know
We'll again meet at the venue.
Entry is FREE for the viewing public and show attendees, but track time will incur costs.
Track time is also subject to usual track day necessities: long leg & sleeve clothing, helmets, signing on, safety briefing and noise testing.
It's all booked through MSV, their links below.
Tyrells Cafe will be open for business.
Movement on site is permitted, so you are free to arrive and leave whenever you wish, but please adhere to the site speed limits and watch for pedestrians.
Further Details of this Event can be found the SSW Facebook Page HERE and track time can be booked through the MSV Website HERE
To give us a rough idea of numbers to help us arrange the Club Stand, could you please add your name to the list starting on this thread.
You can of course email me, should you wish.
Alternatively, please post on the Event Page over on our Facebook Page HERE
Last month saw our best ever attendance, so if you'd like to come out - no matter what you drive or ride - please join us at Snetterton on the 16th for one last SSW Meet of 2015
Hope to see you there!
Darren

Thanks for the post Darren.
Yes the SSW's have proved very popular with PHers and others too with attendances overall of 300-400 vehicles.
This is the last of these events for this year so make the most of it. Get there as early as you can this time as the nights are drawing in now and we will probably only run until 9ish. There is no daytime event going on this time so we have the place to ourselves and those on the evening track session so we should be by Tyrrells as usual.
Darren and I will try to get there early to get a good spot work permitting (me only) so in theory we could start the event earlier as we will be finishing a bit earlier due to the light
See you all there
Eddy

SSW REMINDER
Don't forget everyone, THIS Wednesday is the LAST PHEA SSW of 2015!
We have gazebo if the weather's dodgy, but it'll be a great way to end the SSW Meets, new for 2015.
Even though the official start is 6pm, because the nights are drawing in, we shall be there from about 5pm, so you're free, you're welcome to join us earlier!
See you all Wednesday
Darren
