Deleated dealer complaint..
Discussion
What a shame a recent post that complained about a certain local dealer group has been locked. I understand the no name and shame policy is part of the web site rules but the dealer group concerned is really quite spectacular in their attitude to customers.
Just today a new level of satisfaction has been achieved by one of the franchises it holds. They appear to have a monopoly on cars of a certain perceived quality that is being abused. Such is the grip they have even the manufacturer seems indifferent to stepping in.
Vote with your feet is all we can do I suppose but what a shame that the Pistonheads in our area are so poorly treated.
As I am sure you may have gathered I have today had my disappointment freshly increased.
Grrrr

I dunno, it looks like you can name and shame somebody and their business as long as you do it on the Pistonheads main page

Discussions are still possible without breaching name and shame rules - it's really not that hard to do.As I am sure you may have gathered I have today had my disappointment freshly increased.

We are all local in this section so most would understand what was being discussed even without naming the company concerned....
PS sorry to hear of your disappointment and yes voting with your feet is the best thing to do

just to add a bit of BBC balance to the topic, yesterday i was in email conversations with a parts guy from the audi branch and had great service, going above what i would expect from any dealer franchise.
Yep, I've found their Audi Parts Department to be really helpful too. What wasn't as helpful was another member of staff taking a brand new Sportline Q7 home for the weekend who, less than a mile from the showroom, drove into my Mk1 Golf and wrote it off.
