This is a good thing.
At 20 mph 80% of children hit by a vehicle will survive, at 30mph 80% of children hit by a vehicle will die, I say its a good thing and I run a 450bhp RS4 and I love to drive, round town I can keep it to 20mph for safety.
Whilst I agree with you, it's about time we educated people about road safety. In my school days in the 60's the police used to come around the school and carry out a demo.At 20 mph 80% of children hit by a vehicle will survive, at 30mph 80% of children hit by a vehicle will die, I say its a good thing and I run a 450bhp RS4 and I love to drive, round town I can keep it to 20mph for safety.
With the old Wolseys they would race across the playground and hit the brakes, with no ABS it left a lovely stretch of tyre mark on the ground, and showed the distance it took a car to stop.
It's not only children we need to educate but adults with their bloody ear phones in or walking around like zombies texting.
Then you get those who think Red means they can cross the road.
I don't mind doing 20 either, but the pedestrians must play their part as well.
