East Anglian Shows to attend
Discussion
In a month or so I will have my home build on the road and I'd quite like to take it to a show or two.
Nothing too far away to start with until it has a few miles on the clock so I wondered what are the best ones and how
and when to enter them. I have in the past gone to Lavenham Rare Breeds and seen that Piston Heads had a stand there.
Do we still do this, and do you still have to register with the show organisers ?
At the moment I have the brakes to sort, as the left wheels connected to the right wheel, but not as well as it needs to be.
Back to Norwich for the IVA re-test, part with some cash for registration, tax & insurance, number plates and I'm there. Yay!
Thanks in anticipation,
Paul G

On your mentioned shows, we will be at Kimbolton again. Another main-stay show

Excellent. Have a look at Sandringham too though. Small classic/American car club but loads of outdoor pursuit stuff. The scurry racing with horses is great to watch and with the dogs is hilarious. Five show rings with something going on in each of them all day and more Labradors than you can shake a stick at. In fact if you shook it,. one of 'em would bring it back. And for the PH massive, they even have clay pigeon shooting. Maybe set up a PH leader board? ColinM50:

Another show we found by accident last year and were too late to enter was the Kings Lynn classic car show. good if basic show with some impressive metal on display. Not sure if it's on this year, last year was the first and it was really well attended If it is on it'd make a good day out.

For PHEA Shows, I tend to stick to those on local turf.
Of the 4 locals you mention, I'm down for 3, and have plans for other Meets at Snetterton this year

Hi Paul & Darren
I like the sound of a couple of those.
I take it that it's Cars On The Green, Nowton Park, 21st June
and
Cars By The Lake, Fornham St Martin, 6th Sept.
Actually I don't mind, since my car is aluminium with stainless chassis, if it's Cars IN the Lake. (titter)
Thanks for those.
Cheers
