Merry Christmas PHers! (+end of year bit)
Discussion
As you know 2004 saw the launch of the 'Pistonheads Roadshow', and I'm delighted to say that with your valued support we had an excellent turnout of 10-20 cars at all the events:
Boadicea Run
East Anglian Practical Classics
British Sportscar Day
Helmingham Festival of Classics and Sports Cars
Rougham Airshow
Lavenham Rare Breeds Motor Show
Coltishall Run
Cars present on the PH stands included Aston Martin, Ferrari, TVR, Noble, Porsche, Ultima, Lotus, Gordon Keeble, Scimitar, MG and the Fergus Special Many thanks to EVERYONE who came along to support the shows and fly the PH flag.
2005 will bring a similar line-up of shows and events: I will keep you all informed by e-mail (and also on the East Anglian forum at PH) and look forward to another great year. If you have any friends who might be interested and have a suitable car, please let me know.
I must also thank my co-conspirator Ian Beech for organising the monthly gatherings at the Flying Fortress pub as well as the successful Duxford 'hoon'! Also, the many kind words of encouragement from friends old and new that re-affirmed my instincts that what I was doing was right.
And finally, no less a chap than PetrolTed himself, who gave the 'PH Roadshow' his blessing and even brought the massive PistonHeads banners over to me personally. Thank you Ted.
I believe Ian may be working on a post-Christmas gathering so you may get the chance to give your cars a post-Christmas workout - watch this space!
Best wishes and thanks to you all,

Gentlemen, Thank you for your time and effort throughout the year to galvanise us slothful PHers and for arranging some great days out!
What a fantastic day it was for the Boadicea Run...had to be one of the nicest days of 2004?
I will never forget Ian's video at the Shuttleworth Collection with my Griff wearing an umbrella and Bill Wither's "Lovely Day"...and the sound of the Spitfire flying past!
Oh...and the Bury St Edmunds "Meat Feast"!
Thank you and see you next year!
