Hi all

I'm thinking of doing a short film in the next month or two. Something of a personal project, the central theme of which would be a car.

I thought I would put a message out there, to see if anyone has a car that they would be interested in lending to the project? I can't offer anything near "industry" rates as this is a passion project, but I could certainly find *some* cash and of course you'd get to have a copy of the film once it is done.

I am not necessarily looking for anything flashy (the opposite might be good) - but I need something with a vicious sound. Was thinking a TVR might be ideal, but quite open to suggestions. We would need an actor to drive the car in a couple of shots, although most of the time it would either be static or we can cheat and have the owner drive.

Would probably need the car for two days total, at owner's convenience.

If this appeals to anyone, please let me know. More details of the film available via PM, I won't post them on here for obvious reasons

You'll have to forgive my ignorance regarding all things British, is that the V8 or the 4-pot?

Well, I'm guessing the driver will be issued with a parachute...

...gives me a chance to show off my low budget film featuring a TVR made this year...
...recorded on an i-phone stuck to the windscreen, but not that bad considering
...in the Vosges mountains...somewhere just south of Ipswich.. smile

It's the 1.8l 4cl but it had a very distinctive roar to it.

Thanks to all for getting in touch, I will get back to you all shortly.

I think from a logistics (read = money) point of view, I will pinch one of my dad's cars as the "hero" car, but I might be able to get a PH vehicle or two in there.

Will keep you all up to date smile
