I'll soon be needing 2 new tyres, and girlfriend needs all 4. Both cars take the same size, so planning on ordering 6 at once from Camskill or somewhere similar.

Problem then is getting the things fitted and balanced - I know a lot of bigger garages aren't interested in doing it. Does anyone know of anywhere in Norwich where we can get this done, and a rough cost per wheel to work out if the saving made by buying tyres online will be negated by the fitting costs?

Thanks in advance.

If you use blackcircles you can get a price for fitted and unfitted. If you go for fitted you choose one of their approved garages near you and they send them there. Blackcircles have loads of garages in Norwich.

I've used quikfit before, as they are open on the weekends which is convenient for me. Cost was about £15 a corner I think. Not too sure.

Try HMT on Vulcan Road South. I always use them for my car and bikes. I ring other companies first and then contact them and they always beat everyone else. When you have got your online price, just give them a ring and see what they can do. You might be surprised. smile

I've given BlackCircles a look, though they're more expensive than many locally which was surprising. Good site though.

Just round the corner from me, though someone else had told me they won't fit tyres that they haven't supplied! confused

Never dealt with HMT, will give them a try for tyres and fitting before I buy online. Thanks.

We will only fit your own tyres if they are new, you just pay valve + balancing

I bought mine from Tyremen at a fitted price. Their recommended installer was Havers Tyres, Norwich. Quite good. They went that extra mile and cleaned as much of the old glue off the wheels where the previous balance weights had been.
