I do, every day!I have been in contact with Bidwells regarding a couple of places, one of which is simply too large for us and pushing it financially, the 2nd is perfect but the landlord has concerns about our line of business and the affect on others, we only do minor cosmetic damage so the types of vehicle on site are no different to that seen at any supermarket!
Annoyingly I cannot make any progress on this one as the owner is sat on a boat somewhere sipping champagne, i've sent them 5 years worth of accounts details, my website, my linkedin profile etc but TBH I feel like I'm being messed about and will be let down sometime next week, so i need to make a decision to continue looking for an alternative.
We need a place sorted within the next 3-4 weeks as we have just secured a two year contract with a dealership to provide services and it all hinges on the workshop, rather frustranging as we have the funds to get in a place, another option was Meteor Close but the council have put a ban on anymore motor trades in that road! This is why I've stayed mobile for so long because of the hassle but we need to expand now and there seems to be so many obstacles in the way.

I take it you've had a drive around the airport, Sweetbriar and Bowthorpe industrial estates Gareth? When I was looking for commercial premises, the agents were appalling. Bidwells was probably one of the better ones in fairness, but they didn't have anything suitable. The one I had to deal with was a royal pain in the arse and had to be chased constantly, even though I was trying to spend money with them! Got there in the end, but it was very frustrating.

Hi mate, yes Bowthorpe is my local and nothing under 2000sq ft available, nothing on sweetbriar either, there was a couple of small ones but again, another excuse about the landlord not wanting any more motor trades!I'm looking at a place tomorrow and if its right, i'm going for it, the sooner I have a resolution the sooner I can get more people booked in!
I have been in both of these and they are only just above your 2000 sq ft
