They have been low on used and SOR stock for a while, but have been turning round cars.
The Lotus side have seen a few decent sales recently, too.

However much of their work goes on round the back.
As for closing, there have been various rumours circulating since the recession and the removal of the Aston new car sales, but they are still there which I suppose says something.

Hope they do keep going ok. Great service from them especially Guy in the Lotus sales.

Imagine it is hard though, Porsche Norwich at Longwater didn't last long into the recession did it!

Friend of mine was saying that Stratton Motors often run out of petrol as well, not a good sign. They have stopped going there. Also a bit pricey.
The Longwater Porsche garage was a non-starter. Went there for the grand opening, all sounded and looked good. Went to book my 997 in for a service and was told even before I asked how much, service costs are all the same at OPC’s and if I wanted a lone car it would be restricted on mileage. Did get a costing in the end. Then went to Cambridge OPC and saved about £80 and no limit on mileage of loan car. I will admit that before the service episode, I had a flat they were very helpful and costs were good.

FIL is the Parts manager at SMC. They're ticking over quite nicely, restorations mostly and race car prep and support.

The service side has died off a bit from what I gather so their expertise have gone into specialising in keeping the older models on the road of all three of their brands.
