Annual shout out for Bentley Boys
Discussion
Another year flown past! time once again to mention the gathering of sporting/rare/interesting and just plain lovely cars. To be held again at Ufford 'White Lion' pub near Woodbridge. 5th April start at around 10.30am until around 4.00pm. No need to book and no formalities.
Obviously alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available to purchase along with Barbi products to purchase. Jazz band normally playing. Loads of interesting people to chat with.
Cars range from vintage Bugatti to Austin 7. Vintage cars are the main stay but other more modern machinery also turns up.
Edit to correct address

Just a note to those planning a visit this year, be aware the parking area is a field which is fairly low lying. It might be wise to phone the pub nearer the date to make sure the site is not waterlogged if we continue to be deluged with more rain.

I should be there again. Always a great turn out of lovely cars, though sadly the ratio of 'moderns' to pre war stuff is on the up.....
The event is advertised on the pubs own web site as Annual Vintage cars. Some of these are very rare and the owners are selective where they show them. Too much 'modern' stuff will detract from the essence of the
original intention.

Completely agree, us oldies will just have to make sure we pitch up early I suppose. The barbi was always a scrumptious affair but last years burger was crap, I won't bother buying another unless they change the chef! But it is a great day out and gets the season off to a great start.crankedup said:

OH and I went there last Autumn and we were really shocked how untidy the outside area has become and hardly anyone in the pub or outside even though it was a lovely sunny day. Gassing Station | East Anglia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
