Car Storage in Colchester

Hi all

If anyone has any or knows of anywhere around the Colchester area where I can store/park a car, please let me know.

I'm looking for a garage with enough space for a large car (4.61m x 1.73m) and room to open the door to get out! A parking slot in a barn would be find too. I would want relatively easy access to the car, 7 days a week if possible, and not purely restricted to office hours. It has to be covered and locked.

I've had some pretty ludicrous offers, like £100 for a rusty shipping containing in a field, £156 for a bay in a warehouse with access restrictions, or £80 for a bay in car storage with severe restrictions on access making it only suitable for long term lay up.

I've asked some local farmers, and their barns are either entirely rented by companies, or they refuse to store due to fire risk. I'm surprised how hard this search has been!

Try the Big Yellow at North Station.
They have garages, which can fit a TVR & I've seen a Mustang in one too.
Worth an ask.

Try park-let. They have a few garages around Colchester/Ipswich.

Thanks guys. Parklet looks quite a good site, shame the nearest to me is the opposite side of my crappy gridlocked town, and is about £65 a month. At least I have a fall-back if I can't find anything more convenient or cheaper!
