Hi gents,

I'm being posted to RAF Marham in February and I don't think I'll have the luxury of the hangarage I have currently up in Scotland... So does anybody have some available secure space to store and work on my fleet nearby? I'm looking to house my Reliant Kitten racer, Scimitar project, my car trailer and tools/parts etc - so will need more than just a single garage! Power and light, and somewhere to wash my hands would be a distinct plus smile

All offers gratefully considered!

Regards,

Si

Join the motor club on base. The old IC was a proper petrol head, so it wants for nothing. I used to keep my tools in the corner, my track car just outside the club and my trailer in the caravan park. Failing that, there are garages about you can rent, just talk to housing.

I'll second the motor club. Brilliant facility. Four post lift, loads of tools available.

Costs about £24 a year I think.

Where are you working?

Cool, cheers gents!

I'm actually the OIC of the Lossie club right now, but the rumour mill had the Marham place chocka and not that good - glad to hear it's better smile I'm posted into IX(B) Sqn as of March.

Well, I guess it's all relative. If the Lossie club is that good then Marham's might be poor in comparison, but I e never found it lacking.

Say hello to your friendly fairies when you get here wink
