Good afternoon everyone!

I hereby announce the FINAL Event in the PHEA Calendar 2013 - the PHEA Christmas Mealxmasparty

This year, we shall be returning to The Angel Pub in Woodbridge, Suffolk on Sunday 15th December.
We shall be meeting at 12:30pm for 1pm munch.

As some of you know, this pub is run by a fellow PHEA Member Chris Mapey, so who better to cater for our Christmas meal biggrin
The pub's own Website can be FOUND HERE

With limited parking at the pub, Chris has kindly arranged free off street parking at a neighbouring business property thumbup
Parking and the pub can be found at the MAP LINK HERE

With this Pub Meet, I will require pre-orders from those who wish to attend.
I also please require a deposit of £7.50 but this is payable to me on the day
I require all pre-orders by Wednesday 11th December at the latest, please, so I can let the pub know smile

I have booked for 16 spaces, so please book now to avoid disappointment.

Here is the menu choices:

EVENING

Starter

homemade mushroom soup dressed with truffle oil (v)
warm root vegetable salad with wilted spinach (v)
starter size angel sausage roll with pickle & salad
homemade smoked fish pate with toasts & salad

Main

roast local turkey with all the traditional trimmings
baked cod fillet with hollandaise sauce, crushed new
potatoes & creamy sautéed leeks
homemade steak & Wherry pie, served with creamy
mash & fresh vegetables
homemade vegetable curry with steamed rice (v)

Pudding

Christmas pudding with double cream & brandy butter
homemade chocolate tart with a red berry compote
homemade sloe gin trifle


two courses £16.95 per person
three courses £19.95 per person
locally roasted coffee or tea £1.00



Alternatively, Chris has kindly offered his lunchtime menu too, should you prefer.

LUNCHTIME

To share on arrival

angel marinated olives with warm ciabatta (v)

Main

roast local turkey with all the traditional trimmings
seafood platter breaded scallops, scampi & fish
goujons, with fries & homemade tartare
homemade vegetable curry with steamed rice (v)

Pudding

Christmas pudding with double cream
mini raspberry & vanilla baked cheesecake
with a red berry compote

three courses £10.95 per person
locally roasted coffee or tea £1.00


Whether first time attendee or a PHEA regular, all are welcome bounce

So all I need for now is for notice that you wish to join us for our PHEA Christmas Meal, along with your pre-order by Wednesday 11th December at the latest.

Oh, food, I'm in...lick

Quite fancy the seafood platter, but starter and pud from the evening
menu. Is that a runner Darren?

Rebecca and i are up for it and looking forward to it already.

Lunchtime menu sounds fine to me. Don't want three full courses then have to drive back all the way to Norwich.

Will confirm main and pudding asap and happy to give deposit whenever.

The standard lunchtime menu plus coffee is fine for Rebecca and i. Nice and simple! That refers to menu choice not us lol.

Looking forward to Olives actually. Getting withdrawl symptoms from Spa

There isn't a kid's menu per se, although I have been advised a child' portion is available for roughly half the cost, if that makes sense? smile
