isuzu D-Max tow 3.5 tonnes
Discussion
A friend just got his new isuzu crew cab D-MAX towing capacity 3.5 tonnes. On looking over vehicle the weight plate reads
max 6000kgs train weight .
the truck weighs 2240kgs (full tank of fuel)
trailer max 3.5 tonnes
HE WEIGHS 110KGS
that makes 6050kgs
That makes it over weight by 50 kgs with no tools or passengers !!!!
so he poped in to VOSA at Bexwell and yes they say his maths is wright
so hes taken it back to dealer for a refund as no good as he would get the book thrown at him by VOSA

Had exactly the same happen with a couple of vans from Busseys.
They had all of the requirements provided and even insisted that a taco had to be fitted as the total train was going to exceed 3.5Ton. Gross train weight for the van they then supplied was 3.5Ton! Got pulled 55% overweight....
