Clive Atthowe Tuning on Salhouse Road is the excellent place PHEA used for a Rolling Road Day back in January, although I can't remember the cost, I am sorry to say.

He's definitely got the best RR in East Anglia, and Clive really knows his stuff.

Another vote for Clive from me too.

Pretty sure that APT in lenwade have a rolling road too.

Just checked the website, yes they do. And it's 4 wheel drive. (As is Clive's)

The APT signs have been taken down. You might find they've disappeared. Worth phoning to find out.

Clive is pretty good and has a 'no nonsense' approach, he's been pretty busy recently so book in advance.

I had forgotten about APT.

They are still there, and having a new ramp installed at present - a friend is working for the builder installing it.
Maybe they are having a revamp, hence the signs disappearing? scratchchin

Yes, Clive is good. APT are having some changes done so the RR will be out of action for a bit.

I will be doing another RR day in the new year if there is call for it. The last one was great.

I always go to Clive's but if it's a long wait and you're in a hurry these guys might be able to help:

They're also a classic mini specialist.

Scholar Engines, Mendlesham (ok, bit of a drive from Norwich) are very good and very cheap (~£35 - £40).

Run by Rindy Frost.

How long have they had their RR back up and running? They're literally just over the road from me.

I went to see them years ago about a tie up with my remapping business, but their RR had fallen into disrepair, so we didn't take it any further.

Rindy used to be based in Ipswich (on the industrial estate near Sainsburys / Shell Ranelegh), but moved over the last few years to Scholar engines in Mendlesham.

I (used) to live about 2 or 3 miles from Mendlesham, made an appointment and drove all the way to Ipswich to find out he'd moved!

Will do mate. Good to see you've gone back to your roots and taken over from Joy and Alan...What parts of SCA are you continuing with? Will you have the accessory parts or just concentrate on the Race parts?

Shame to see SCA close but I am sure Alan and Joy will stay around the scene. Not tempted to take over their unit? Guess with the new RR you've installed it would be a costly move though.

Will get over next week for a coffee... wink
