Several forecasts including BBCs "look East" this evening have forecast early mist, light winds, some cloud with sunny spells - and NO rain!

Please check out the earlier thread "EA Phers end of season hoon - times and places" which now has some updated info and pics of the main meeting point prior to Duxford. You may want to print this off.

Also, any of you coming from the south east of the region might want to consider "Simpos" "pre-rendezvous" thread below and connect with that.

The plan for the last stage of the hoon is to get back on the A14 west and then south on the M11 to Duxford.

The car park at Duxford is large and we should all be able to park together. I did try to see if we could get something sorted properly with the Duxford management but no success unfortunately.

Safe journeys to all - and don`t forget we get an extra hour on Sunday due to the clocks going back!!

Just cleaned the car, it's in the garage now waiting for it's Zymol later this evening.

So it'd better not rain

As long as it's not raining I will have the roof off, anyone who doesn't is a wuss, I am still suffering from a cold you know !

Damn this extra hour - all ready to go and then I remembered!

However 'targa up' is draftier, esp at speed. Best take the lot down. Mind you it's only 10.8C and feels decidedly taters!
