Vehicle Detailling in Norfolk
Discussion
I've just had Stuart Curtis from Vehicle Detailling Services give my car some TLC... (vdservices.co.uk)
I had a 2 day correction detail, clean and protection coat put on it and all I can say is WOW... It's amazing... A few people on here have recommended him and I wasn't disappointed with the results!
If you're ever looking to get your car done, DEFINITELY give him a call... The level of cleaning is verging on the point of OCD (which is a good thing if you ask me!) haha!
After he'd finished, I took the car up to the coast for a few pics to show off how beautifully glossy and shiny it is!

What does something like that cost?
I think it's car dependent to be honest. He charged me £360 which, considering the time he spent on the car (approx 14hrs), is a bargain if you ask me! He even touched in all the stone chips AND gave the inside a quick once over too which I wasn't expecting!I must admit, I was a little sceptical at first and almost didn't have it done, but I'm so happy that I did and will definitely be getting him back in once the protective coating has worn off (which is usually about 18months apparently) if not before!

Thanks for the info. I'm toying with getting our ML done. Just to add to this thread, that I have just had Kidman Detailing give my Merc and decent machine polish and a winterisation wax.
Took best part of a day and the results are superb. Now some of you may remember, I am fairly confident with a polisher and know what is what but due to current work load just havent got the time to do my own car.
Gareth and Jonny did a top job exactly as I would have done if those who remember the Evo days.
Ceramic coat on the Mercs is a hard bugger to work with but the paintwork is very highly glossed now. I left the car outside last night and the dew was beading up really well.
Could have gone the whole 9 yards and got Gareth to apply his skills to touch in the stone chip on the bonnet but I ran out of time and needed the car back early.
Decent price too and Norwich based. Very interested in his possible next venture of applying Plasti Dip.....I have a cheap Pajero that would look ace in Plasti Dip Nato green
There has been a vacancy for some decent detailing around for a while and its good to see these two companies doing a top job.

Surprised that needs a machine polish already Kev.
It wasn't bad at all but did have some light swirling and a couple of defect areas on the bootlid and some on the bonnet. We used Menzerna Power Finish for correcting these which was a polish developed with Mercedes for the ceramic clearcoat. TBH it finished down so nicely but we took it one step further and used Menz Final Finish to refine before a 2 stage sealant that should see it through the winter, we sealed the wheels as well.slippery said:

So was I mate. There was some marks when I got it from new. It had been in MB Cambridge for a bit then got sent to Norwich, so had been mistreated by the Robbo yobbos on the forecourt for a few months. As you know they use the one bucket and sponge method when cleaning 20 cars followed by the chamois of ste to dry it off. Always room for improvement That explains it. In fact I'm bordering on requesting that my ML doesn't get the 'complimentary' wash treatment when it goes in, as it is laughably bad with huge patches of dirty car left untouched. When I got it back last week, it honestly looked like the Boy Scouts had given it the once over!

They are all just as bad mate. Put Nikki's Disco into Hunter's for some warranty work and she was kept waiting for it while they valeted it.Missed most of the lower half of the car despite taking their time after Nikki complained about the finish last time..
When told by a dealer that 'they will ensure the car is thoroughly valeted before I get it back' I love the look on their faces when I say 'Dont bother, I'll get it done better elsewhere'....Hunters did this and nearly argued that they 'had' to ensure it was clean when they returned it....
