Hi all,

UPDATED:

Gary at FenSpeed is going to host us for an open day at his garage in Peterborough on 19th of October 2013:

Anyone is welcome to come and find out what an MS ECU can do, talk about fitting, etc, etc. Shaun (www.ms2tuning.com) will be there as well as myself. So if you have anything you want to know, any questions on your current install, thinking of fitting one, etc, then feel free to come down.
We will be there from around 9am till the crowds have disbursed!

Hi all,
Im going to be organising a meeting for anyone interested in MegaSquirt ECUs. Its free of charge, open to anyone who either has one of my ECUs or to anyone interested in finding out more about them.
It will be informal, just a gathering of people who want to know more about MegaSquirt.

It will be in the Peterborough area on Saturday the 19th October. I've yet to confirm the place, but its likely to be a customers garage, he sells Lotus 7s based on MX5 parts.

If anyone is interested I will keep this updated with more or see my site ,
thanks
Phil
Do you think someone there could look at my ground problems (installers fault) need to get it looked at ..running on open loop ,lambdas off .

Phil, there's a good chance I'll be at home then, in which case you can count me in! I still seem to have fuelling probs at WOT, (we never got to map that if you recall), and I've forgotten how to set up the laptop and do the data logging (yes, I'm a knob smile )

Are you likely to be going in the Cobra? Maybe I could follow you over wink

I'd be up for donating a Southern venue for a future meeting.

If this one goes well then we will do one in the South next year, maybe alternate it or do another one as well,

I don't have Megasquirt (yet, says Alex), but would be interested in learning more about it.

Unfortunately I blew the engine up in April and its still being sorted out and I doubt I will be back on the road by then, so I will be relying on other people to bring their MS'd cars.

Thanks Phil. For me the issue it is not knowing how much knowledge one needs to re-map/adjust megasquirt. I can work a computer, especially in Excel, but I don't know a lot about engines. Willing to learn however.
Car is running awesomely on the Lucas at present, but I can sense that once I have got used to this level of power (around 300-310 bhp/330 torques) I will want another bucket-full, perhaps T/C or S/C. I don't tend to do BHPs in 10s and 20s.

Hi Phil, this could be interesting, I still have a few details to work out with mine, need to go on up to V8D as well, yes, keep us up-dated. I did Silverstone GP and Nurburgring last month and the car ran great, come to think about it, I'm tempted to to touch anything, it's just the shunting range and warm-up i'd like to be better
