Sports Car Rally Today, Anyone know what it was?

There was I in the wedge going from Harleston to Hempnall and when I got to arburgh saw a couple of MG's in front and a lovely Alfa about to turn out onto the road as well, Anyway found my self in the middle of a convoy of old classics and sports cars 10 ish cars, they seemed to have Rally plates on the cars, Anyway joined in for a few miles.
Anyone know what it was all about?
