East Coast Retros group and car meet

Hi, Myself and a friend run a car group for East Anglian retro car fans, we've been going a year now and we are getting bigger each month and we also run a monthly car meet at the Shipwreck pub at Shotley Marina near Ipswich.

We normally have 20-30 car come along and have our next meet this Monday evening (the 12th) from 7pm, if anybody fancies coming along for a pint or spot to eat and to look at the cars then please come along, there are speed bumps but most low cars do go over them without issue, and you don't need to own a retro car to come along!

I'll pop along Monday for a look. I'll bring my camera and hopefully get some good shots. I'll be in my MX5 VT sport. look forward to meeting some of you guys, I seem to have been out of the Pistonhead loop for a little while since I sold the Westfield V8.

A new branch has been setup in Norwich,with a meet on 15th Aug.at the Griffin Pub on the Yarmouth rd. Nice picture of Pauls Victor.

Paul's Victor is lovely, he asked us if he could set up a Norfolk division recently as a quite a few group members live that way and couldn't make our Shotley meets, His first meet last week had a excellent turn out!

If weather stays okay I'll make a visit to this on Thursday night - unfortunately couldn't make the Shotley meet last night as clashed with an East Anglian Lotus club night which I attended for the first time, and in hindsight was an incorrect choice!

I believe the Norwich meet is every fortnight, our Shotley one is once a month.
