We'd love to join you Darren! All well I trust?

Gilly grew up in Suffolk and we're "returners" as it were. Good roads though obviously not like the Swiss Alps!

All is indeed well thanks. I hope repatriation went smoothly and you're all settled - you must have been back over a year now? scratchchin

I look forward to hopefully seeing you all and at least one of your cars again on UK soil!

True, while not the Alps, there this occasional hill whistle
If not driven already, I would recommend B1119 from Saxmundham, then pick up the A1120 and turning off to Debenham and beyond on the B1077 - great little route smile

Good luck with the purchase!

Thanks for the route ideas Darren! Will try in the M3 this weekend, weather looks too iffy for more exotic machinery smile

We're in between about 2 miles from either, yes it is lovely round there. I hope I don't get an old Suffolk boy accent though, won't suit me smile

I'll look forward to seeing it out and about the area.

One of the guys on here from Cambridge usually organises a couple of charity runs a year. Last was Cromer way and before that Southwold. I missed them due to car trouble but should hopefully make the next one. Would love to see yours there.

I'm in Woodbridge too. Can also vouch for Chris.Mapey's pub in the town centre although i'm not a Gin drinker, and the car park is tricky to get out of in a real car smile but the foods good the beers cold and the banter is high brow.

There are a number of PH types, some incredibly dull some less so, and some cracking roads around Orford/Woodbridge/Stowmarket route. Some track days at RAF Woodbridge and we are a welcoming community once you become a local. Locality is awarded after 65 years.

Edited to add, as this is PH, we are obviously going to need to see pictures of "the wife" smile
