You're quite right. It's the fact that the A8 continues to be such a competent all rounder that allowed the upgrade budget to be blown on this instead! Might have to spend a few bob on the suspension soon though, as it's starting to get a bit creaky. My mileage has tumbled of late too. smile

A missive sticker on the bonnet and a lady driving?
If so, it's one I've seen around here. Posted about it a very long time ago in the TVR section.
The driver never responded sadly, but I had confirmation they were indeed locals smile

That's my late summer/autumn job on the E38 full suspension refresh - complete madness to the great unwashed spending just over £1000 on parts to refresh the arms and bushes when the car isn't probably worth that much but it's earnt it's keep as in nearly 8 years it's the first major expenditure it's needed.

Liking the Chim - always had a soft spot for them and Tuscans

I did consider the Speed Six and indeed the AJP8 engined cars, but in the end, I went for the simplicity of the Rover based engine. I plan to use the car as much as I can as long as it's dry, so that engine was a more practical option. I've also hankered after that traditional burble since the days of the Wedges, so thought I'd best tick that box. smile
