Is Pistonheads East Anglia and its regular pub meets and events too far away? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I was thinking about something like meeting up on a semi-regular, and rather informal basis in the north Norfolk area just to talk cars or perhaps to organise European, Scottish or Welsh road trips.I've been on a couple of PHEA runs but wasn't aware they organised anything bigger than that. I plan to go to Helmingham this weekend and will keep my eye out for future pub events but, it depends on where they are.

Sounds exactly how PHEA started (and does meet up informally to talk about cars)

OK well the man to talk to is Darren ('iluvmercs') and if you have an idea for something new he'll see if there's enough interest. AFAIK there haven't been any PHEA overseas trips but there will be other groups on PH doing such things that you can join in with. Simpo Two said:

I've just finished an Alpine tour with other PHers and will probably be doing a Scottish one with another in September but they are not from my neck of the woods. Hence the invitation.I'm thinking about a Pyrenees tour next year but ideally for around 6-7 cars. Any more and the logistics get difficult.
