Classic & Sports Cars By The Lake - Sunday 1st September
I am cross posting this from the Kent & Essex section as we're heading onto your turf for this one...!
Looking back at the resent Cressing Temple Motor Show meet which included breakfast and a two hour spirited drive across some of Essex’s finest roads both Nick Johnson and I have decided to organise one more outing before the summer departs.
In 2014 we will be back with three more events spread across the summer but for 2013 this will be our end of season finale.
Earlier in the week we had confirmation from the event organisers of the Classic & Sports Cars – By The Lake (Bury St Edmunds) that we (PistonHeads) can provisionally have a display stand for 25 cars. With close to 400 cars on display, hot air balloon display, BBC Radio Suffolk Broadcasting Live from the event and a Green King Licensed Bar this has all the makings of another brilliant day out.

Show Time: 10:00am – 4pm (No Obligation To Stay All Day)
The Convoy:
Similar to the Cressing Temple meet we will be organising a convoy to the show, the meeting place will be Halstead area although we are yet to confirm a location. We do have somewhere in mind but I am awaiting confirmation from the owners if it possible to use and also if they want to join us in one of their cars.
We will ensure that the route is plotted out (as per the Cressing Temple meet), meaning there will be a superb variety of twisty / open roads which we can all enjoy on route.
Cameraman – James Morgan
James Morgan is a young budding future cameraman who is studying TV Production at university and is currently at WhatCar on a work experience program. I’m pleased to be able to confirm James’s attendance again for this meet so not only will you guys have an amazing day out but with James on board you will also get some footage of your cars in action as the convoy moves from Halstead to Bury St Edmunds.

Good morning guys,
Sorry for not replying sooner, have just returned from holiday where the Internet connection was very hit & miss.
I will pass the idea of having our stands next to each other to Nick who is in contact with the show organisers and see what the outcome is - failing that we'll come and say hello on the day!
