I know there's a roads folder on the main forums, but has anyone tried opening a sticky folder for good local roads of East Anglia?

I drove down wood lane from Honingham to Attlebridge today. What a great road! Smooth, flat, good visibility and also a couple if nice bends here and there! Very nice stretch of Tarmac!

Also, another road I love is the B1136 from Hales to Haddiscoe. SUPERB road (although a bit bumpy in places and a few bad cambers so be careful!!)

A1120

B1078

Both on my daily commute smile

Also both used as police training routes so be careful who you overtake!

Gotta be the road between Lotus and Wymondham at around half 4 in the afternoon. The same road at 6.15am is horrible.

This route (in the old thread)

I still stand by it.

The only downside is having to come back via Oulton Broad, but hey...why not stop your car outside the Wherry (vastly improved of late) or the Commodore and have a drink (squash obviously) overlooking the broads.

Seriously though, that route at 6/7am is a joy. You don't even need to drive silly to have some great fun.

Left at 5am on a sunday to drive that road and it is fantastic. Keep meaning to go back there...
