I think you can view the auction results online afterwards.

Certainly one or two nice cars there, the little 100A appealed to my Datsun interests and I also like the Mk1 Landcrab and Rover 216 Vitesse. Shame I'm going to be busy, I'd like to have gone along for a look.

Yes, the website is very good at reporting the lots that have sold/are still available.

Thinking forwards to the Marham trackday, the Sierra 'Coswort' could be fun, although I see that the exact same car changed hands at the previous auction - not sure how to read that.

But maybe the Bentley Turbo R would make light work of the main runway?

Some interesting stuff there.... As a 911 owner even I'll admit that the slant nose turbo cab is in a small market segment with that colour interior! biggrinbiggrin

I'd love nothing better than to while away a few hours there, but I think Mrs S has other ideas and there is a fast approaching fish and chip run to save my weekend pass for! smile

The auction results have now been added to the website.

Looks like the estimates were all close to the mark. The MGA went for £19,425 (plus 5% buyers premium?)

I thought that the very tidy XJS V12 with towbar and XJS plate would have made a great trackday towcar, but kept my hands in my pockets.

The perfect looking Maserati was tempting too, what are the running costs on one of those like?

Fascinating stuff! Thanks for posting.

Can't believe the 1936 MG PB bag of bits went for so much.

A few cars in there I would have been tempted to go for had I the money. Loved the Mustang and Thunderbird. Also rather nostalgic with the Ford Corsair (the first "proper car" I owned) smile

Not surprised the range rover didn't sell, though.

I hurried past the 1936 MG PB as it had been partially dismantled - what rare widgets would be missing?

Also, the paintwork in front of E-Type's windscreen wasn't right. For the original £55,000 to 65,000 estimate, I'd expect perfection! I see that the following note has been added - post auction:

SPECIAL NOTICE: The chassis number indicates that this vehicle was originally a fixed head coupe.

I wonder if the successful bidder knew that? eek At least he got it for a knock-down £44,362.

It was pocket billiads all afternoon for me, Nigel, so still just six cars in the fleet. I'm now thinking the XJS reg. XJS is the one that got away! ( And the BMW 840 and the Maza 3200 GT)

Sue liked the metallic pink Figaro (turbo) with the cream leather interior - but not enough to buy it. Does anywhere do 'Compulsive Behavior Courses for Girls'?
