Looking for a Stainless Exhaust for my XJR
Discussion
I'm looking for a system for my Jag, and have found Demand Engineering in Stonham Aspal, http://demandengineering.co.uk
They've quoted me a price that I'm happy with (£750 cat back full system), and their work seems good going by their pictures, but has anyone actually used them here? Any stories I should know about?
Also, is there anyone else I should speak to / any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance

Hi Chris, the only thing I would say is don't be tempted to go overboard with the noise like I did with mine. It ruined the character of the car and I ended up having more work done to quieten it down a bit. I used Mark at Power and Performance in Honingham near Norwich, who is a decent guy. They fabricate custom stainless steel systems, although I cheated and just had some boxes deleted from the standard ones. Get it right and it will sound fabulous. Have you thought about a smaller supercharger pulley too?
Have you done it yet Chris? Looking forward to hearing it because currently sometimes I dont even notice you.....in my rear view mirror!
Seriously though, interested to see their work, I drive past that place on the way to work and am very tempted to drop in now I dont have any neighbours to annoy.

Not done it yet, plan to sort it in a couple of months time (at the same time as the pulleys & intercooler upgrade) - will let you know the findings are...Seriously though, interested to see their work, I drive past that place on the way to work and am very tempted to drop in now I dont have any neighbours to annoy.
Have to say that the work on display when I popped in was first rate, and they were working on a 'full race' set-up for a Fiat 126 when I turned up, so I had to keep my wallet in check for that one ;-)
I'd be more concerned about you watching the road in front rather than watching your mirrors, but then it's very common to find a 5 series dawdling down the middle of the road... ;-) How is the mini cabbing going?
Have a look here at there Facebook page some pictures of a recent XKR
