Where can I doo 200mph?
Discussion
Apart from the Acle straight?
I've got the vehicle to so it, now I just need the location (locally).
I'm guessing I'm going to need 2 miles for a standing start hit the magic number and stop again. Does this sound about right? Or could it be done on less?
So I was thinking, runways or perhaps pulling in a favour or two over at the lotus factory for use of their test track.
Any thoughts/advice greatly recieved.
Tim.

If you can hit 200mph on the Lotus Test Track in any vehicle and not end up parked upside down in the far end of Potash lane I'd be spectacularly impressed!
Most I've managed is about 150 in a GT4 race car, I don't even think the GT2 would go over 170 with the chicane bypassed!
That's interesting. For some reason I had it in my head it was a mile and a half long. Most I've managed is about 150 in a GT4 race car, I don't even think the GT2 would go over 170 with the chicane bypassed!
Thanks though. Nicely rules that one out. Incidentally, how long is the straight there?,

The whole track is only 2.2 miles long, although there might be a mile and a half's worth of straights they're all separated by corners Thanks though. Nicely rules that one out. Incidentally, how long is the straight there?,
I'd estimate the longest straight with the chicane removed is about half a mile with a fast corner leading onto it.
