Time lapse video hire/supplier

Afternoon gents (and ladies)

I am looking to set up two time lapse video points within the next week and wondered if anyone knows where I can hire the equipment?

One will be pointing at the build of a new business venture whilst another is to video a potential hazzard which may cause a head ache for said business.

First one will be needed for around a month and a half but the second will only need to be on site for around a fortnight.

Any helps or pointers would be gratefully recieved.

Don't know if it helps, but I set my Canon SLR up to take time lapse photos as our drive was being laid. I connected the camera to a laptop, and used the supplied Canon software to take the pictures at a regular interval. Sadly I didn't really calculate how much disk space was going to required and the laptop ran out of disk space quite quickly.

But if you attach it to a desktop PC with some decent sized hard drives in, I'm sure you could do what you need.

If you have a digital SLR camera, it's worth thinking about rather than buying/renting extra equipment.

Thanks. had thought of using my own camera but as the site is fairly open and a public space, need something a bit more 'rugged' and secure.

Shame really as the build process would have made an interesting project.

Have you tried EV GROUP in rose lane speak to Jonathan Thursby when i was doing aviation filming work we used to get allsorts of kit from them might be worth a try and they are good guys to deal with never know what they have in there store cupboard

However have now bought a small one from here...
