Totally agree with the above.
Also......
Be prepared...Are you taking another car for carrying basic tools, trolley jack, fluids, extra fuel...etc etc..
Make sure the car is prepared..(in a roadworthy condition)..Reasonable tyres(that will get you home !!! Take spare wheels)
brake pads, fluids etc...
How will you get home if not under your own power ????
Do your homework......
I hadn't driven Snetterton since the early 90s....let alone the new layout.
I watched countless youtube entries and the best in my opinion is
Snetterton 300 on board 3 door Cos March 2011.wmv

Same advice I always give......everyone else will give you the list of tools etc to take. I advise you to put your Helmet, Driving Licence and the paperwork for the event into the car the night before. Without these three you won't be driving at all.....and wear the correct clothing as described in the instructions.
Make sure you arrive at the circuit with a full fuel tank - my TVR uses twice the fuel on a track day as on the roads, and i got through 80 litres the last one time I went on track. If the Clio tank is small, be prepared either to take some jerry cans with you, or to go off the circuit at lunchtime to fill up, as they might not sell it on track.
Rest of the advice.....take it steady to start with, and keep an eye on your mirrors, and obey the rules about overtaking. Don't try to time yourself, it's not a race, and take it easy on your car, which means not blasting at top speed the length of every straight every time. Instead make sure you arrive at the corners on your own, which will give you the space and time to make the best of the corners. You will be amazed how easily your car spins when the muppet in front does!!Don't try too hard when you are close to Armco or tyre barriers - they do a hideous amount of damage if you get it wrong, as well as ending your track day instantly. And if you find yourself going off at the end of the start-finish straight, go into the ploughed field forwards, not sideways, for fairly obvious reasons. Finally, do drive as much as reasonably possible when the track is open - if you take a long break, you can count on there being a red flag just as you go out again.
