Although I have enough logs for this winter I am looking to buy in ready for winter 2013/14. I have a couple of large apple trees in my garden which I may need to log up but you cannot have enough fuel stored. Any recommendations/leads. Thanks.

There's a farm not far from me in Old Newton (on the B1113 on the way out of Stow going towards Bacton, Finninham etc.) that has what looks like a metre square mesh cages of split logs for £95. From what I can gather , this about the going rate.

Haven't used them myself

"Offer 3 - Pub Special - 5 cubic metres of logs - Hardwood £300 delivered"

That's a decent deal if you need that much - can store it.

I'm seriously tempted, but haven't finished my log store yet.

Looks like East Anglian no longer supply, I 'ordered' 5c/m of logs and he said I will get back to you in a couple of weeks. Heard no more and website gone.
Don't fancy 99 quid c/m so anyone else know of suppliers of hardwood logs? Thanks.

That's strange, as I actually ended up getting a 5c/m load from him just before Christmas, he delivered straight away.

Sadly, logs cost more and more.

Wish I had placed my order back then. Have a few old apple trees in my garden which are on their last legs, if we don't get our place sold they may get the chop! We have planted four fruit trees since we have lived here, three are semi mature now, so I don't feel to guilty about the chainsaw.
