I would like to thank John for organising the Rougham trip today.

Both Linda and I had a great time meeting new faces and putting faces to names from here. Hopefully we'll see you again soon maybe at the FF next week.

Big thanks again to John.

And from me too a top day, well worth the 202 mile round trip

Excellent day, lots to see and the weather was perfect.

Now for some video editing......but maybe some first.

Noble and TVR people talking to each other. They'll ban it you know!

It was a great day. We both look a bit 'rosy' now. Didn't plan on the Sun.

Best bits :-

Meeting everyone I did.
Wayne and I creating a Noble critic mass.
Honda aero's.
General attitude of the public.
Weather.

Not perfect :-

I didn't talk to everyone on the stand.
The 'interesting' rallycross entry/exit. The dust is a great tell-tail for where children's greezy mits have been.
That b100dy generator.
Didn't say goodbye to everyone.
My photography...

Do it again? Oh yes!

John, you're a star. Thanks once again.

Phil

..and it's a Meade telescope. Knew I'd get there in the end...

Thanks folks, and thanks also to all of you who came along to support. Luckily the weather was very good, and we had an excellent turnout of 17 cars on display, including 2 Nobles, 2 Porsches, a Lotus and no fewer than 12 TVRs

It was good to meet lots of new faces - and also some old ones from the club next door (hi Dave!) who came over to say hello.

I'll post some photos tomorrow but for now here's one:

Next week: Lavenham

John

Like to add my thanks for the organisation of the day. Enjoyed seeing lots of Brit sports cars, the Porker felt a little lonely, at least there was a Boxster to keep us company!! Sorry didn't get to meet more people, got caught up with some old flying buddies from the RAF (they were the ones in those Stearmans) not the mad man in the Honda.

Had a good run home until the rear right blew out at Diss. Fortunatley a slow one and we were slowing down for a roundabout at that point. Anyway had fun putting the space saver on - forunately it worked.

Hope to meet up again soon, maybe at the next FF meet.

Regards

Chris.

What a lousy day. What was all that blue sky and sunny weather about then? I thought it was summer, where was the rain? And the peolple; having to talk to Noble and Porsche ownners, the indignity. Honestly, I would rather have spent the day doing my VAT return!

OK, I'm a bad liar. It was great to meet and chat with some new faces as well as some old ones. Excellent day out. The air display was great too but whilst the Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang and stunt plane were all great, I think the award for most entertaining display must go to this one:

"What, what; Tally Ho!"

Thought you said it started with an 'H' Yes, that's the one. I can sleep, now

Cheers, hope to see you all again soon

It was really nice to meet you and Linda. Some friendly faces, what a relief. Great pictures of planes on the forum. Unfortunately wondering what the damage is from the uneven field to my suspension - handling very strange on way home and I had a scary moment. Met a pilot in pilots corner - said he flew Meschersmitt (hows my spelling?). Unfortunately never saw him fly so bit doubtful as to whether he actually really flies.

Yes just add my thanks for organising a grat day out, very enjoyable...

Think the car needs a bit of a clean now, after off roading with the roof down, dust has managed to get everywhere!

Biggest downside of the day was not taking the sun cream, feeling a little on the burnt side today!

Thanks again, possibly see some of you next week at the FF depending on what I decide to do.... Looking forward to some more pictures....

Didn't have time to meet many of you but did introduce myself to John who made me very welcome.I have a 1997 4litre Chimaera a very similar colour to Johns Griff.
Thought the latest TVR's (Tuscans & T350) some of you own looked awesome, first time i have seen any of them first hand must be something to do with living in rural Norfolk
