Hi,

I need 4 new tyres for my Boxster and have tried a Black Circles (total cost £866) and Micheldever who's nearest fitting centre is in Cambridge (too far on the tyres which took a battering in an autotest and are significantly illegal). Fellow PHers on the Porsche forum are getting better prices on bigger tyres from mobile fitting serivces but they seem to be London-based. Anyone know of a Norfolk firm I should try?

Camskill get good prices, Or try National tyres and ask for there website you can order on line and get them fitted at any of there centres

My dad always swears by Airways tyres at the end of Vulcan road, I use the guys at the opposite end of Vulcan road who used to be motorbike tyre specialists and have branched out - Cant remember their name right now, sorry! You cant miss them if you drive past in the direction of the Boundary junction just before you reach Comet on the right!

Pilot Sports (N3 rated) 265/35 zr18, 225 40 zr18 N rated speed rating Y. Fitted, balanced VAT etc please.

Also Michilin are offering a £50 cash back offer per pair but only with some dealers, so that will make a big difference.

Lancaster OPC advised me N3 obsolete now need N4 and they will only fit tyres of the same N rating so would only sell me 4 tyres!
Williams Tyres in Boss Hall said no problem supplying 2 N4 tyres and OK to fit with N3s on other axle.
Worth a shout if you can travel to Ipswich as price was good.

Have ordered them, thanks everybody. Best price was F1 autocentres, which are also .2 of a mile from my house. Perfect.
