Hi everyone hope your all keeping well, sorry Ive not been around for a while. its been a strange time. last year was really busy for me, my photography hobby has kept me busy . Ive now shot three weddings and have a couple more booked. Ive also had a lot of trouble with my back. which has caused me problems at work, Ive been having physio and acupuncture but still have probs. All these things put together meant the Westfield only did 500 miles last year. and with my back problems I decided to sell her. a couple of weeks ago she headed off for a new life in Germany. I did quiet well I sold for more than I paid 4 yrs ago.
I decided I wanted another soft top but didnt want something as extreme as the Westfield and also didnt want to spend much as money was needed for other things. so a couple of weeks ago I bought ( no hairdresser jokes) a Mazda MX5 S-VT sport. and to be honest I love it to bits. the S-VT has a 1.8 vvt engine, six speed box , bilstien suspension, Uprated brakes, LSD, suspension braces and heated leather.
first impressions, yeah its never going to be as quick as my Westfield but its pretty nippy and loves to be revved right past 6k. handles beautifully , comfortable and the roof is fab, up and down in less than 10 seconds. its only done 33k with full service history and the cambelts been done.
Hope your all keeping well. do I still qualify to be on the Pistonhead stand at Helmingham or am i relegated to the MX owners club stand Im hoping to do the Hunny run next weekend see you all soon
