I took my car to him once, with a misfire problem. I was fairly sure what was causing it, and told him so.

I arrived back the next day, to be told / shown the real cause - something completely different to my diagnosis!

He'd fixed the issue too - and the bill was 'drink' money.

He could have blagged me and charged me a lot more if he was unscrupulous I guess - but he didn't - was straight up and down professional.

So, for me, recommended.

Whilst I would not question the competence, experience and knowledge of this operation. The behaviour, attitude and customer interaction is far from what is reasonably usual. I will not use him again or recommend

Have taken my BMW 325i (and the wife's Pug 307) for their last two services/MOTs there.
It's walking distance from my house so very convenient.
No problem with the service, and Clive always seems very pleasant IMO.

It's true, he doesn't have someone to smile at you and offer you a coffee, a biscuit and some bullst
