PHEA Roadshow: Suffolk Academy Car Show - Sunday 3rd June
Discussion
Good afternoon everyone!
I hereby announce the next show in PHEA Summer Calendar, and it's a NEW Event for 2012.
Organised by a fellow PHer on Sunday 3rd June, the Suffolk Academy Car Show is in Barrow, near Bury St Edmunds - CLICK HERE for a Map Link.
This Car and Family Day Event is a half-day show, beginning at 1pm until late. Entry is just £5 per car, while pedestrian entry is free.
There are already a large variety of cars confirmed, so let's see if we get a decent number together for a PHEA display
Full details from the Event's Website can be found by CLICKING HERE and by viewing this flier:
I think that's about it for now.
Meeting details will be sent out next week, so for now if you'd like to join us at a BRAND NEW PHEA Event, then please add you name to this list. Alternatively, you can email me directly to let me know you'd like to attend

Yes i had to get help after that horrific experience!
Strangely enough a sign outside our local Screwfix decided to blow over against the drivers door a few weeks later..........They still have the video of me jumping on the sign and kicking the sh*t out of it at the branch.......luckily no damage to the car,the sign was a different story!

Its a big car park at Tescos! I suggest that we meet on the part thats on the far left hand corner of the store as you look at it from the fron. This is always the quietest area.
BTW if its raining i am afraid that my car will not be coming out of its nest.....pussy i know, but that car dont do rain!

Back from the show, and I have to admit I enjoyed my short time there. Unfortunately due to the severely poor weather the turn out was a little low, not only for PHEA, but also for the show in general - in fact I was, understandably, the sole person to brave the harsh weather - but I am a little nuts (I guess it had to happen sooner or later)
Still, I pitched up with some old friends, having an impromptue "joint" stand
I did manage to take a few photos in the pouring rain, which I'll be posting up later.
Also, I have told the PHer organiser that PHEA would like to give the show another try next year, when hopefully the weather will be better

Good man Darren! Here hoping next year sports better weather! - I managed to drag myself (and poor Allison) out to the Norwich show for half an hour and spotted hardy Fasteddy braving the weather there along with some equally hardy classic owners.Finger crossed next weekend brings out the sun!
Cheers
