20th May Southwold charity exotic car display!
Discussion
Hi everyone, I've organised a charity car cruise which visits Southwold approx. 1 ish, we're all parking up on South Green (with full approval from the council!) we'll be having lunch at 2.00pm nearby. We have about 26 cars in total which are 6x 355's, 3x 360's, 2x 430's, 2x dino's, 1x 308, 1x california, 4x Gallardo's, 3x Porsches, 1x Aston V8, 1x R8, 1x E type, 1x Esprit! All the cars that are participating are paying £20 which goes to Prader Willi Syndrome Association (which is the condition my daughter has) and while the cars are at Southwold East Anglian Childrens Hospice will be collecting. So please come along and have a look at the cars, all the drivers are very passionate about them and I'm sure if people want to sit in the cars for a good photo opportunity we'll oblige if you put a couple of quid in the bucket!! It's all going to a very worthy cause, so lets hope for no rain!.......John.

How long are you all going to be there for as my boy has a kids party in the morning in Norwich so could get there early afternoon.
Eddy
We're gonna be arriving at about 1 o'clock, a lunch is booked for 2 o'clock- should be out about 3.30 then hanging around a bit, obviously it depends on the weather, if it's dry- which I'm sure it will be! Should be hanging around for a couple of hours, so we can help raise as much money as possible, John.Eddy

How weather dependant is this due to the cars involved? I am afraid to tell my boy about it in case it is rained off.
What club/forum is this organised through then if any?
Cheers
Eddy
Hi Eddy, tell your boy it's happening! It's took a lot of organising to get to this stage and it's going ahead. Many of the drivers like to use their cars and they appreciate they have to commit to something being organised and they live in England! especially because we're raising money for 2 charities you have to get your priorities right. It was my idea which started on 2 runs last year to North Norfolk, 6 cars came to the first, 10 came to the second, this is my third but we wanted a change of direction. I will be doing another one in July to North Norfolk- but I'll get this out the way first! I posted it on the Ferrari/Lambo section towards the end to try and make the numbers up but I already had about 22 cars by then, see you Sunday ;-) John. What club/forum is this organised through then if any?
Cheers

We popped down for a couple of hours. Stunning display of exotic automobiles.
Special thanks to the guy in the Gallardo Superleggera for bringing a car identical to my boys toy one lol.
Some other pics
We did not get a chance to talk to any owners as they were not there for the hour and a half we were there.

confession time, it is not a superlegerra, just a standard car with a few extra grey bits... glad your son loved it nonetheless...Special thanks to the guy in the Gallardo Superleggera for bringing a car identical to my boys toy one lol.

Funny you should say that as he noticed that his model (albeit small scale) had what looked like extended front air intakes and splitter. I thought the model was wrong lol.Eddy
LOL, best you get him a more authentic model then.....
