Hi all.
I've just moved to Ipswich and have a problem with a bike I have bought for commuting.
It is a '97 Aprilia Pegaso and has been running well for the last couple of weeks.
Today I have gone to start it and it started smoking, I think from the battery area.
I've taken of the plastic and found a trickle charger lead connected across the battery terminals that is in pretty poor condition. I've removed this.
There was a block connector that had become disconnected, I've reconnected that.
Problem is I cannot see anything that has any evidence of charing.
Anybody have any ideas or can recommend a bike garage near here as my usual garage is now 70 odd miles away.
Thanks.

I think the nearest Aprillia dealer is in Bury St Edmunds http://www.maxmoto.co.uk/
But you could always try Orwell Motorcycles in Ipswich http://www.orwell.co.uk/
Others to try are http://www.motoworksipswich.co.uk and http://www.daveybros.co.uk
