Ford Focus ST 2 5Dr in Performance Blue

On Thursday 01/03/2012 my brothers Ford Focus ST in Performance Blue was stolen from my parents drive in Cottenham, Cambs between 14:30-15:00, the house was broken into and turned upside down until they found the keys.

Please take extra care if your car is left at home while you are at work and I would suggest taking your car keys to work.

The registration number is AY56XDT, if any one has any information please contact Cambridge police.

If he had taken his keys to work with him, his house have been even more trashed in the search for them and there is always the possibility that a determind enough gang would then return for them when the owner is at home. This happened to a fellow forum member a few weeks ago. A gang smashed their way into his house in balaclavas with baseball bats, took his keys and car and left him pretty traumatised. if I'm out and my car is at home, my keys would be pretty easy to find and they are welcome to them if it means my house doesn't get turned upside down or I have to face an armed gang! Just offering a different perpective, I hope you don't mind.

A similar thing happen to a friend of mine in Waterbeach (near Cambridge) They stole his Impreza STi and then used it as a getaway car for a murder. I really wouldn't want to come home and find them waiting for me.

I hope he gets the car back and it isn't too fecked up.
